ARCHIVE GUESTBOOK
JULY, 2000

Hi Jeff! My honey and I saw you at the Cleveland Zoo Saturday, Aug. 22. It was the best concert we had been to in a long time. Keith is a HUGE fan of yours and had missed seeing you in Cleveland several years ago, so this night was a dream come true for him. We were the animated couple sitting in the front row (where you came and sat on the rock in front of us while you were playing). We love you! We hope you'll come back to the area soon! I even flew back from Florida early to see you! Of course, your new CD has a prominent place in my collection (my honey and I trade off discs all the time). Good luck to you!

All the best, MariLou (Alias Miss Mayonnaise)

JEFF saw you on Friday night with guitars and saxes. YOU
are a wonderful guitarist. I only wish that you all could
have played individually and stayed a lot longer. We will
continue to go to as many jazz shows as possible..

Dear Jeff, I dropped you a line on the album review page, it is fantastic!!! I've converted some of my co-workers who only listen to sleepy soft jazz to your great variety of everything. Had a fabulous time in Newport Beach and at Pasadena, did you notice that you were the only one who got the concert-goers on their feet?! Looking forward to seeing you at Summerlin in Las Vegas (thats a great place for a concert) and at Catalina. We'd like to see more of you in L.A., how about B.B.s Blues Club? Have a good one and can't wait to see you. Yvette

Jeff, Don't know if you remember me, we went to junior high together. Anyway, was strolling though Virgin the other day and happened upon your new CD. I had to buy it just to brag. Then I listened to it. It's great! I never had the privelege of listening to you back in Copley, now I know what I've been missing. I'm living in LA now, a VP at a television network, and would love to hear from you, as would Fletch, Dunk and the rest (yes... I'm still in touch with the boys, you can take the kid out of Ohio...)

Anyway, take care and keep those riffs coming.

Hi, Mr. Jeff; I was at Winter Prark, too. You changed my life ( put me back on the one used to be ). I got my key boards fixed, cleaned. The old YAMAHA sounds like Fender Rose, Korg is like b3, my practice is Boz Scaggs, copying "Out of Blew", got 2 thick stack of music papers, I don't know how long this CD will last long since I repeat so many times. Maybe next time when you come to colorado, you can hire me. I'll play for free, ha, ha. I had to get cheap recorder, too. So that, when nice phrase comes up, I can record and send it to you and you can make it up. What a dream!!! Your play is concentration of a musician's life. It's hard to explaine since English is my 2nd lauguage. Any way, you got me. I thought about the time I was copying Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, etc., band's member got together, either I or guitar guy came up with a introduction....Thank you very much!!! for putting music back to big part of my life. I sent mail to webmistress one, so I guess your mgr must delete my mail. I did not notice aobut your web untill this week, I was busy listening all the musician's CDbefore the Jazz Fes. That's I usually do before the concert, so, I can enjoy concert. I did not open the paper part of your CD. I did not know your smiling picture, list of musician, none of that. In Bob James, Rick Braun, you are all over. I was listening those without knowing it was you. I did not know Avenue Blue either, on my day off, I usually play amooth jazz station on degital express doing cleaning, lundry, dishes etc. When the song I like comes on, I look at who's song, and some of those was Avene blue but I did not buy CD then, I'll get them all soon. I got "Dengerous Curves" yesterday by Amazon.com. It calm me down. Maybe I need load up CD player in my T-top since I don't have convertible, instead of listening with air conditioning on the othrer car . KHIH is futuring you this week. I get listening your song a lot while I'm at work. Just let you know some one became big fan of you at Winter park.

Hi, Jeff
Just a note to tell you Jill and I really enjoyed visiting with you Sat. night at the Brewery in Winter Park. And, as always, enjoyed your part of Guitars and Saxes at the Winter Park Jazz Festival. Jill has already bought tickets for Caravan of Dreams in Sept.; I, unfortunately have work obligations that will prevent me from attending that show....darn. Your performances always blow us away and we're still on a Jeff Golub high.
You're the best and we love you. Wendy

Hi Jeff

Just got your new CD - it's amazing (once again)
It's still to early to say, but it's probely your
best cd since Naked City (I think) don't misunderstand
me, the others re great too. So now I'm finally glad
you left Rod's band, so we can have yours winderfull
solo albums. By the way why don't make a slow jazz/blues
song with Rod on vocal for one of yours album ?

Best regards

Torben

Hi Jeff-
Great show at the Metropolitan Café last Wednesday!! The band is amazing, and your playing is always inspiring, and often frightening!!! If you recall, we spoke about a book of hand exercises for tendonitis sufferers that you said helped you- I’d love to find out the name of the book, ‘cause I’ve tried about everything and I’m at a loss as of now.
Your new CD is fantastic, btw- hope you make it up to Boston/Providence area soon! If not, we’ll go back to NYC- your gigs are worth the trip!!
Thanks for the great music
