I saw you on the webcast from J and R Music World along with Phillippe Saisse, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I see that you like rosewood fingerboard, cherry-red Strats, too. As a guitarist/musician/educator myself, I am fortunate to know of artists like yourself. If you are ever near north central Louisiana perfoming (maybe even Grambling State) look me up. Great playing!

Jeff, I have had the pleasure of seeing you perform several times and your music always gives me goose bumps! I also enjoyed seeing you perform with Rick Braun at Buckeye Lake in Ohio. Probably not an ideal performance location, but the fans enjoy the intimacy. Hope to see you at the Capital Jazz Fest again (I've gone every year). There are so many great performers, it must be fun for you as well. You have always been very gracious about taking the time to meet and speak with your fans - it's greatly appreciated. I hope 2000 is a healthy and prosperous year for you and yours, as well as the band members and their families. THANKS FOR THE GREAT MUSIC!!

Hi, Jeff!
I'd like to add my congratulations also. I agree with Kevin Briggs that you deserved more than oen nomination. I would have liked to see you down for Best Album for Out of the Blue. I'm still enjoying it immensely (and I still can't get over Manteca - just too cool!). I wonder if all the fans who sign this book know how to vote in the Oasis Awards. Okay, you guys, if you're reading this and want to vote, here's the URL: http://www.oasisawards.com/ Okay, you guys, now hop to it! (just teasing)
Jeff, I hope you come through here one of these days...I'm dying to see you live!
All the best,
Lois

Jeff, Congratulations on your Oasis Awards nomination for best guitar player. You certainly deserve it. You have mine and Austins vote. I thought you should have been listed in a few other catagories like best collaboration, best CD. Suprised Phillippe wasn't listed in the best porducer catagory!
If you have any ideas for practice routines for Austin, I love to hear them. He's working on Jim Kelly's Guitar workshop and Frank Gamble's Chop Builder right now. We look foward to your next apperance at "The Lounge". Hope it will be soon. Have a Great Holiday season and a happy new year!. Kevin

Jeff,
I recently bought your new CD, OUT OF THE BLUE, and am still listening to it with excitement. It was the first music I had heard from you. I am a smooth jazz listener, and also a piano and guitar player. I was interested to know what kind of electric guitar(s) you used, if that is something you can tell me. I really like the sounds you produce on that CD. Anyway, I'm looking forward to your next release.

It was great running into you last night at the Bitter End! you've been a major influence on me
for years, and it was a real treat to see and hear you "up close and personal". If you stayed
around and used your fingers to count how many times I ripped you off in OUR set, you
would've run out of fingers! Hope to hear you again around town real soon! If you guys have
a mailing list for upcoming performances, please put me on it.....

Hi Jeff
I don't suppose you come to Scandinavian or even Europe to play. Saw 3 times with Rod. Are there any chance you first CD will be re-released. I saw it once by a small record store here in Denmark ! (years ago) but I fool didn't buy it. Now it's to late. You have just started with Rod I remenber. But I got the others CD you made. But I wish I have the first also.

Wish you a merry christmas.

Dear Jeff/Avenue Blue:

I received a listing for the performers at the 2000 Jazz Fest in Reading, PA. I am horrified . . . you guys are not going to be there next March?! What has happened? My husband and I (and sometimes our 8 year old twin boys) see you each and every year. Is it true? You really won't be there? Please tell me there has been some mistake. It won't be the same without your music!
