Tone..Taste..Touch...! A buddy of mine brought your CD for me as a birthday present..Would'nt let me look at the cover (blindfold test) I've dabled on the guitar for the past 15 years and I know my guitarist but I could not place you..A little Carlton.a little David T. Walker...Eric Gale...no God rest his soul Eric's no longer with us and the attack was more agressive (but still sweet)...Who the hell is this...Jeff Golub!!! Don't take this the wrong way jeff but where I come from all you can say to a tour de force as Soulful as your new CD is the same thing I heard my daddy say when I was 10 years old or so and he described the lead singer for AWB "That's one bad white boy..." Love, Peace, and Blessings a new Fan, Darryl :-)

Hi Jeff; I like the vocal of "If I Ever..". I have liked the part "If you're lyin', keep on lyin'",last night I was listening verve site and familier voice got me, it was Richard Eliott's "Brand New Love Affair", then I found out those vocal are the same person. I'm getting one of Sue Ann's album. I like Destiny's Child'n stuff. I can listen to the DMX R&B all day long.*** Then, I was getting words of "Jesus Children.." it keeps saying "Don't Lie" You know, it's not big deal, like, a cross is just one of shape for me..I usually don't listen to the words of songs..but..you explain how your "Naked City" was made, lonelyness in NY city etc.."Drop Top" is your convertible..So, totaly opsite phrase in the same album. huuum.. ***The move, "Taitanic"'s details were pretty acurate I heard, new "Pearl Harvor" got here there, "no way, it can be." and I cannot get in, enjoy story, special efect. *** I used to not like tulips and sunflower together, now I just go by the color. kinda loosing sensitivity.*** But it's amazing this your new album cathching so wide range of fans. some people like the part I try avoid (but I like end of song so I was so happy to discover holding down technic to listen to solo on the end.) By the way did you have to put orange lip color or photo artist toutched up on the photo to match the sunset album design? "I don't care!!"( Cold Sweat) Yoshiko

Saw the pics of your baby boy..what a handsome little devil!!..do you having him playing yet? Hope to see you in concert, I will travel miles to see a good guitar player..Take Care and keep the music coming..It is a pleasure!!!!

I just recently picked up do it again and have enjoyed several cuts on it.I like the way you play not trying to cram to much or to little into your playing.I myself am trying to play guitar and found that jazz is the absolute best style of music. Now don't get me wrong I am a fan of other styles such as blues blugrass and classic rock.I have just dicovered WES MONTGOMERY and really love his playing(about a year and a half ago) And I also like guys like Bela Fleck, David Grisman,Garcia,The String Cheese Incident, and Medeski Martin and Wood.I look forward to hearing more of your material.

Hi Jeff, what drew me to your latest was your cover of "Cut The Cake"., and "If I Ever Loose This Heaven". I am a big fan of AWB, have not heard their music for a long time. Liked "Mercy Mercy Me".. I became a great fan of yours, and will not buy all the CD's I can get my hand on. Was surprised that the girl at HMV record store, knew, JEFF GOLUB, when I just got acquainted with his music.. look forward in hearing your new project due April 15..

Jeff, I first heard you on 93.1 smooth jazz out of Richmond VA. It was "Droptop". Then I heard "My Everything" on Direct TV lite jazz music channel. I now own "Out of the Blue" and "Dangerous Curves" and will be picking up the rest of your CD's soon. Thanks for posting your gear setup as well. Great tones! I love your playing style. Very refreshing.

Hi Jeff! Just wanted to tell you again how great the show was on Sunday in Cavecreek, AZ! What a fantastic show! I heard you almost came to dinner with Craig, but couldn't make it. That would have really been great! You need a fan club so we adoring fans can do that with you! That would be totally awesome! Hope to see you again this summer, I can't get enough! Dawn

Hey, just wanted to drop by a note - heard you on KWJZ a couple weeks ago, and loved Cold Duck Time!!! I'm excited to be (hopefully!) getting Do It Again this week or next... Even though you don't read tab, I appreciate you letting it be put on your site - I got all of them, and had a blast tonight running through them (talk about the awesome solo runs you do! I could hardly keep up just watching the notes!) Anyway, thanks for keepin' the music comin', and hope to see you in town!

On a fluke I picked up and listened to Out Of The Blue and upon hearing the first track I immediately went on line to find out what gear you use and how you get your killer tone. Very warm. So thenk you for posting your gear section for us players. There is definitely atleast one player who read it. I'm really enjoying your playing and your grooves.
