I just wanted to wish you & your family a Merry Christmas & a very Happy New Year! I never wrote to thank you for a great performance in St Louis; It is always a thrill to see you and though it wasn't expressed, it was felt all the same; I have read that you will be part of the '07 Guitars and Saxes tour, so I am crossing my fingers now that I may be lucky enough to get to see you more than once next year! I also anxiously hope that the new year brings news of a new CD; I hope that it is going well and that whatever direction you pursue will be well supported because I know that whatever you want to do will be the best! Since Mr; Art Good mentioned that you are in new Steve Cole's album, I stopped by record shop and picked up "True";
"Just a Natural Thang" started with your guitar phrase and it turns into song riff was I thought smart;
It reminds me of G&S 2004 play and your "Soul Session" album;
He thanked for you spent time with him than your family was cute;
Lots of energy;
I hope I get listen to your new album soon;

I wish Gerald Albright was at jazz fes here;
He did Dangerous Curves so clear contrast to your free style solo;
Blues was, too; He did romantic phrase and your celebration play back to back;
I'd like to hear live version of your Narada songs next time;

Hi Jeff,
Your music just seems to get better; Virtuoso guitarists often make poor albums (or at least albums for other players - you know the thing, guitar mixed up too high and a raft of over indulgence); You stuff is a joy - "total music" every player commited to the groove - the real deal; "Crazy Love" is my all-time favourite guitar piece - taste, tone and just knowing what not to play - a masterclass! I also caught sight of the "Naked City" video on You Tube - could it be time for a Jeff Golub DVD??
